I see a lot of 300 pound head nurses sitting at a desk while teams of African Immigrants do all of the grunt work. Maybe this is just a regional thing...?
My last visit to a veterinarian revealed the same thing. He had 5 assistants that I counted.
Back in the day there would have been 1 lady answering the phone and assisting the Vet . The customer would have been expected to assist the Vet too.
This year a routine annual check up with shots and worming would have cost $800 if I had opted to have everything done.
Dental cleaning not included. [Yes we are expected to allow having our pets "put under" for annual teeth cleanings now].....
